News update November-December 2020

West Berks Council commits to spending vast amounts on London Road Industrial Estate developments, including converting the football ground to an unwanted recreational space.

The Council gives a flimsy excuse of possible over-use if organised football was allowed to continue…

They have conveniently forgotten that the former tenants and the community group know how to manage football pitches to optimise the amount of playing time versus wear and tear?!

Meanwhile, the council’s and NCFG’s respective planning applications are delayed for bat wildlife surveys.
